Client Reviews

Without reservation, I sincerely recommend Karyl as a highly qualified professional production specialist who has the creative talent, the skills and the experience to plan, develop and execute complex projects expeditiously and with due consideration of financial constraints.
— Jerry Gaab | Director, Board of the Friends of the Grove Street Cemetery

Karyl is a skilled professional who was wonderful to work with on this project. She was very organized in her approach to setting the timeline for the video production to ensure that the project was completed in a timely manner. Karyl also had a wonderful, calm, and open-minded style of communicating with us, as the clients, to determine the focus of the video and the method to capture our message. After collaborating with Karyl on this project, I feel that any client working with her would attain the same high quality product due to her meticulous attention to detail and her innate ability to capture the essence of the project.
— Sheila Solernou | Division Director, Nursing, Gateway Community College

Ms. Evans was involved with the project from its inception. She led a team of historians and museum staff through the phases of script development, script revisions, site selection, casting, production, and editing. Throughout all stages of production, Ms. Evans was professional and creative. She worked closely with museum staff at identifying their goals and expectations for the film. As the script developed, Ms. Evans was not only open to, but searched out feedback from the staff to ensure that the film achieved our high expectations.
— Christopher Dobbs | Executive Director, Noah Webster House

I took the Connecticut Freedom Trial audiotape package home with the intention of listening to it from time to time during several evenings so that I could write decent copy for it to appear in the Mystic Seaport book catalogue. It was so good that I listened to it at one sitting – three solid hours of listening with increasing admiration. It was like a book that you can’t put down. It was, as the copy I finally wrote for the book catalog says - elegant. Congratulations!
— Joseph Gribbins | Director of Publications, Mystic Seaport Museum

The New Haven Symphony Orchestra has been awarded a substantial grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, in support of our 2009 Youth Orchestra Festival. Our application for this grant featured the documentary video of our 2007 Youth Orchestra Festival that you so expertly produced. Sources inside the NEA cited your documentary video as one of the main reasons our application was approved, as the video conveyed the unique educational opportunities available to students involved in the 2007 festival. This rare award is testimony to the uniqueness of video to communication an engaging story, and to your expertise in producing a powerful video that captured many different aspects of the event.
— Steve Collins | Education Director, New Haven Symphony Orchestra
